MICACEOUS IRON RUST-INHIBITING ANTIQUE EFFECT ENAMEL
Rust inhibiting synthetic primer and finish. It is made with special alkyd resins and micaceous iron pigments, aluminium and zinc phosphate, which give the product excellent rust inhibiting properties and maximum resistance, even in the most severe environmental conditions. When the film is drying, the lamellar particles arrange themselves in layers parallel to the surface of the substrate, overlapping one another to form a truly impenetrable barrier.
This particular structure, together with zinc phosphate, which acts as a passivating pigment, gives the product three essential properties:

• barrier effect, preventing humidity and oxidizing agents from penetrating the substrate;
• passivating effect, preventing the iron from oxidising and corroding;
• shield effect, preventing the film from chalking and decaying due to UV light.
