FIELDS OF USE
IT IS suitable as the first coat of painting cycles using water-based paints. It is used for preparing any new or previously painted building surface (gypsum plaster, plasterboard, concrete, plaster), to stop the wall from chalking and to improve the adhesion of waterbased paints. It also allows washable water-based paints to adhere to emulsion products as long as the pre-existing layers are not too excessively thick or peeling.
APPLICATION
Brush the wall thoroughly and remove any cracked of flaking paint. Dilute one part MARINTONE with 4-5 parts of water according to how absorbent the substrate is. Apply with a brush to make it easier for the product to penetrate. It can be overpainted using water-based paints after 6-8 hours.
