ZINCOPRIMER is particularly suitable for structures made of multiple materials, where its individual adhesion, rust inhibiting and insulation functions perform extremely well. Its adhesion promotion characteristics allow enamel to adhere to zinc, aluminium alloy and fibreglass surfaces. Its rust-inhibiting properties make it suitable for use on iron and cast iron. Its insulating properties make it suitable for use on cement and fibre cement. Synthetic enamels such as Zeus, Emmebi, micaceous iron Nuovo&Antico brillante (high gloss), Lido water-based enamels and Edilflex solvent-based masonry paint and waterbased finishes such as Ediltone and Edilmar can be used for the finishing coat. It cannot be overcoated with nitro products.
APPLICATION
All substrates should be thoroughly degreased, clean and dry. Iron and cast iron substrates should be free from rust and/or mill scale. Apply by brush or roller, diluted with 10% of nitro thinner 090.000. Allow at least six hours before overcoating. Remember that high humidity and low temperatures slow down the drying process.
